How we verify questions
How CandiCerts questions are checked
A practice question is only useful if its answer is right and its explanation is sound. This page explains the checks a new question passes before it is served, and what happens when you spot a problem.
What every track includes
Every track for the five certifications below includes the following. Only questions with a recorded review decision are served; a question marked for fixing or further checking is never served.
PMP, ITIL Foundation (Version 5), CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701), CISSP, PMI-CPMAI
- Every exam domain and objective covered
- Full-length timed mocks plus practice by topic
- New questions added every month
Three independent reviews for every new question
Every new question goes through three separate reviews before it can be served. It is served only when the blind answer check matches our key and the full review keeps or fixes it.
A blind answer check
A reviewer sees only the question and its options, never our answer key or explanation, and answers it. Its answer must match our key. This check uses a different AI system from the other two reviews.
A second blind check
A separate reviewer answers the question from its text and options alone, and says whether it should be kept.
A full review of key and explanation
A reviewer who did not write the question reads it with its key and explanation, and checks that the answer is correct, the explanation is sound and the question fits the exam outline. It keeps the question, fixes it, or holds it back.
These reviews are run separately by AI reviewers, and one of them uses a different AI system from the other two. They are a strong check, not a guarantee, which is why your reports matter.
When reviews disagree, the question is held back
- If any review of a new question disagrees with the answer key or raises a concern, the question is held back and not served.
- A final review then settles it: the question is fixed, confirmed or withdrawn.
- A fixed or confirmed question is served only if the blind answer check matches its key.
Mapped to the official exam outline
Every question we serve is tagged to one domain of the official outline for its exam, and mock exams draw questions in the proportions the outline sets.

When an exam outline changes, the bank follows it. PMP practice follows PMI’s July 2026 outline, including its domain weights and its 240-minute exam time. The ITIL bank is written for Version 5, and questions found using older edition terms are held back.
Report an issue, and we act on it
You report it
Use “Report a question issue” next to a missed question after a Kill Mistakes retest: the question is attached automatically and a note is optional. For anything else, use “Report an issue” in the app menu and describe what you saw.
We review it
Every report goes into our review queue and is tracked until it is resolved.
It is fixed or retired
If the question is wrong or unclear, it is corrected or withdrawn.
When a review fixes a question, its previous version is kept, so each fix can be traced and reversed.
